Back in 2014, Jake Gyllenhaal and Dan Gilroy teamed up for the dark news-chasing thriller Nightcrawler. The Academy Award nominated actor provided one of the best performances of his career in Gilroy’s directorial debut.

When it comes to the teaser trailers for Stranger Things, you can expect to see… nothing. But that is purely by design. The teaser trailers do reveal something, though: episode titles. And these titles will leave us speculating on what we will see and how they serve as a device to move the show forward. Now, Netflix is giving us our first look at those titles for Season 3, a lot of which has to do with what we have seen and heard in the past, which includes more references to the ’80s. Check out the titles and the trailer here below.
This will come as no great surprise to fans, but Netflix has made things official: Stranger Things season three is coming.
Netflix first teased fans of the show with a survey asking whether or not they should do another season. The answer was, obviously, overwhelmingly in favor. Netflix didn’t keep everyone waiting, confirming another season was on the way just two minutes after launching the survey.
You can find the tweets below, along with the press release sent out after.
The popularity of Netflix’s Stranger Things has inspired a phenomenon. The show, which takes cues from many iconic sci-fi films of the ’80s, will be debuting its second season tomorrow.
And what would a hit show be without an aftershow. But how does an aftershow work for a series that releases all its episodes in one day? Well, Netflix has figured that out with Beyond Stranger Things, hosted by Jim Rash (Community). More on the story and a sneak peak video of the show below.
As promised by that cool Friday the 13th trailer teaser yesterday, Netflix has released the final trailer for Stranger Things season two.
