’22 Jump Street’ Red Band Trailer Arrives; Offers Just As Much Fun As The Original
  |

When the 21 Jump Street reboot / relaunch / remake I don’t think anyone expected to enjoy it as much as they did, but thanks to some incredibly witty writing (including some very meta commentary on remaking movies) and some great performances the movie found a very receptive audience.

Now, the upcoming sequel 22 Jump Street has a new trailer out which promises more of the same laughs as Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill reprise their undercover cop roles, this time in college, and more commentary on movie sequels in general and even the first film courtesy of Nick Offerman’s opening lines.

Check out the NSFW red band trailer for 22 Jump Street below, which opens in theaters June 13th, 2014.

Watch Now: 5-Minute ’21 Jump Street’ Red Band Trailer
  |

I initially found it disappointing that Jonah Hill was using his well-earned celebrity clout to mount a big-screen 21 Jump Street movie, even though the actor was insisting it would be funny and violent. I got even less interested when Channing Tatum, the moderately talented human two-by-four from the Step Up movies and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, signed on to be Hill’s co-star. The trend of reviving outdated television series as outsized comedy flicks, kicked off in 1987 with Dragnet, has never caught on as an actual trend and the original 21 Jump Street show was not something I was a fan of anyway.

Then the first trailer for the movie hit and I found it really funny. Now, there’s a newer, longer, and more profane 21 Jump Street trailer for you to laugh your ass all the way through.

You can watch the red band clip here below, but be advised: there’s a ton of swearing in it.

Watch The Trailer For ‘The Lorax’
  |

One of the trickier names to try and adapt for the big screen has been Dr. Seuss. Be it the fallible live-action takes on The Grinch and The Cat In The Hat or the shockingly watchable Horton Hears A Who, the big screen takes on Seuss’ works have been hit or miss.

And now it’s The Lorax‘s turn.

The first trailer for the upcoming Chris Renaud-directed take on the tale has hit, and it is quite stunning. Watch it here below.

Johnny Knoxville and Patton Oswalt Join David Gordon Green-Produced Comedy
  |

Despite being a part of some genuinely mediocre projects, Johnny Knoxville appears to be as hot a comedic property as ever.

Big Beach Films has announced that Knoxville and fellow comedian Patton Oswalt will star in a new yet-to-be-titled film from director Todd Rohal. The movie will follow the story of a “pair of battling brothers who attempt to honor their ailing father by taking a troop of boys on a last ditch camping trip that goes wildly wrong.” Maura Tierney, Patrice O’Neal, and Rob Riggle will co-star.
