Last night’s Super Bowl LIII did not quite live up to any of our expectations. In what was the lowest scoring game in Super Bowl history, a lot of fans took to a second screen to look at some of the best that movie studios had to offer and catch up on some of the ads they may have missed. But even most of the ads failed to live up to the prestige that comes with being an TV spot that appears during the big game.
However, one ad, in particular, caught us all by surprise. And that is the Bud Light and Game Of Thrones commercial. Avid TV watchers would know that their campaign sees a lot of alcohol being consumed during the medieval era. Though when and where this all took place was very unclear. But now, it looks like we have a slight idea, as a knight of the Bud Light kingdom clashes with GoT‘s Gregor Clegane aka The Mountain himself. And there are even more shocking moments. Check out the extended version of this commercial here below.
Alvin Schwartz‘s Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark may have been presented as a collection of children’s horror stories that is rooted in folklore and urban legend, but it is the basis of why those same kids who read all three volumes are fans of the horror genre now. I remember reading at least one book when I was a kid, but I’d never thought they would be able to turn all of that into a film.
Now, CBS Films will be releasing an adaptation of the same name. In it, a group of young people attempt to solve a mystery that involves a series of spectacularly horrific deaths in their small hometown. Check out the first look at Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark here below.
Toy Story 4 will bring Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack), and the rest of the toys back to town this year. Disney”¢Pixar’s longest-running franchise will see our favorite toys in an all-new adventure of discovery and self-discovery. Check out the latest look at the highly anticipated sequel below, which aired during Sunday’s Super Bowl.
We’ve been pretty eager to see CBS’s relaunch of The Twilight Zone on their streaming service ever since the network announced their plans for one. The addition of Jordan Peele as executive producer only added an extra layer of intrigue. And it seems very appropriate that they would drop the first look during one of the world’s biggest games, tonight’s Super Bowl. Of course, it also helps that they are the network to air it. Check it out here below.
With the release of Captain Marvel just a little over a month away, Marvel Studios is making one last push before the press tour kick off. We’ve seen plenty of trailers showing Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) making one crashing return to Earth with new questions about her mysterious past. But as she begins to find the answers, an intergalactic war between two aliens races takes place with Earth being at the center of it all. Check out the latest look at Captain Marvel here below.
