It’s still hard to believe that Game of Thrones is over. There were times when it seemed like the next season might never arrive, and now all eight seasons have come and gone. After its premiere back in 2011, the series quickly developed a rabid fanbase and became a television juggernaut. It was, quite simply, one of the biggest series ever made.
But while the show has indeed ended, HBO released Game of Thrones: The Complete Series last month so that fans can re-visit the story in its entirety whenever they wish to.
Everyone has heard of the phrase: “all good things must come to an end.” For years, Game of Thrones fans have been tuning in to see medieval action, blood being spilled, and treachery.
HBO has released an official trailer for the final season of the show, which will see Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) face a threat that doesn’t feel and is hard to kill. Check out the trailer below.
In honor of the DVD and Blu-ray release of Game of Thrones: The Complete Seventh Season, we are giving away a Blu-ray Edition to two (2) lucky readers!
Paramount Pictures has released the second trailer for xXx: Return of Xander Cage starring Vin Diesel as the title character. Diesel makes a return to the role after taking a brief (if you could call it that) hiatus. It is the second sequel of the franchise, with the first, directed by Rob Cohen, being released in 2002. It was then followed up by its mediocre sequel, xXx: State of the Union, in 2005, where Lee Tamahori took Cohen’s place as director and Ice Cube took on the title role from an absent Diesel.
So after nearly a decade of “development,” Diesel is back as Xander Cage, and he is facing a threat unlike any other he has faced before when four deadly action junkies like himself come across a very dangerous weapon. So it is up to Cage and his new recruits to stop them. Check out the trailer below.
Vin Diesel is really no stranger to bringing back his dying film franchises back from the dead, Fast and Furious and Riddick being the two, and now we can look forward to him bringing back xXx.
Paramount has released the first trailer for xXx: Return of Xander Cage. Diesel returns to play the title character, extreme sports star, and sometimes spy, because if there is anything we need more of its Diesel in an action movie. Check out the trailer below.
