This is awesome.

Firstly, did you even KNOW that of the seven wonders of the world, the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, the Statue of Zeus at Olympia, the Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus, Colossus of Rhodes, and the Lighthouse of Alexandria, only the Pyramid still stands?!?!?!

All of these other magnificent man-made monuments were either destroyed by earthquake, maliciously burned down, or ceremonially ripped to pieces by Christians. (Jeez, literally!)

So, given that we have such magnificent and “still standing” testaments to our ability to build awesome things, why not elect some new ones?

Well, that is just what the New 7 Wonders Foundation is all about. On my favorite date of this year “07.07.07″ the New 7 Wonders Foundation will be holding a party of olympic proportions in Portugal and will name the finalists.

I implore you vote HERE and make a stand for the new 7 wonders. Asia and the Mediterranean are off the charts with votes, but Europe and America are sadly lacking, with only a few days left, we got to get some votes in! You can vote by phone or Internet.
