| New ‘Rick and Morty’ Song Released While We Wait For Season 3
We’re still awaiting word on when we might get to see season three of Adult Swim’s animated comedy Rick and Morty. And that’s fine. As I’ve said in the past, I can be patient for a show like this. I’d much rather it take an unbearably long time for a new season to arrive and have it be as brilliant as the first two seasons were, than have a mediocre show with a few good episodes already four or five seasons in. While we pace around, ignoring all life responsibilities until we know for sure when Rick and Morty is returning, a new video has been released sharing a previously unheard song. You can check it out below.

| Geek Peek: ‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3 (Video) |
|
The first season of the brilliant animated comedy Rick and Morty ended in April of 2014, with season two kicking off a little over a year later in July of 2015. If you thought season three of the show would arrive much faster than season two did given the show’s wildfire popularity, you clearly didn’t listen to Mr. Poopybutthole. At the end of the tremendous season two finale, Mr. Poopybutthole said it would be a year and a half…or longer…before a new season arrived. And that’s looking more and more likely. Season two came to a close in October of 2015, leaving us just a few months short of Mr. Poopybutthole’s estimation with no official premiere date announced yet. The point of all of this is: we should all take our friend Mr. Poopybutthole more seriously. If you’ve never seen an episode of Rick and Morty before, you are no doubt immensely confused at this moment. But that’s OK! While we await word on when season three will be kicking off, a semi-peek at the new season has surfaced. It’s not much, and it’s not even completed footage, but it is something to hold us over. You can check it out below.

Big fans of the Adult Swim animated hit Rick and Morty may have already seen this, but for anyone who hasn’t seen it before it’s a hilariously vulgar way to kick off your week. The video is an animated storyboard re-creation of a very real courtroom altercation that happened in Georgia this past June. In it show co-creator Justin Roiland, who voices both title characters, reads the court transcript verbatim with Rick and Morty taking on the roles of the judge and defendant. | How ‘Rick and Morty’ Became A TV Show (Video)
Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty from Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon is one of the best animated series on TV today, without a doubt. It’s a science fiction comedy that’s fat-trimming funny, but will sock you in the gut with something emotional out of nowhere from time to time and be back to the laughs before you’ve had time to recover. When it comes to a show like this we don’t always think about how it was born, the path that it traveled to become a real thing that we look forward to watching when it’s on. YouTube channel The Court of Source was just created late last month, and only has three videos uploaded so far. But in their latest video, which is set to pass an impressive 300,000 views, they offer the story of how Rick and Morty came to be for any fans interested in knowing it. You can check out the video below.

The sci-fi comedy Rick and Morty has only been around for a couple of seasons now (more like a season and a half with the short first season), but it is easily one of the best animated series out there right now.
