Rick and Morty

The sci-fi comedy Rick and Morty has only been around for a couple of seasons now (more like a season and a half with the short first season), but it is easily one of the best animated series out there right now.

A season three has already been confirmed for the show, but it’s not known when we’ll get to see it. If the wait for more episodes is simply too much for you to bear, there’s some good news. A new game titled Pocket Mortys has been announced, and it is coming soon. Click on over to the other side for more and to see a brief peek at gameplay.

The best part? The game will be free, and it will be released on iOS and Android in just a little over a week on January 14th!

This is great news, especially if the wait for season three is as long as the wait for season two was. The show still feels brand new, but it actually premiered in December of 2013. It wasn’t until July of 2015 that season two finally arrived much to the fans’ delight. If we have to wait until February of 2017 for the next season this is going to be another crazy painful show to wait for a new season of, a bit like the BBC’s hit series Sherlock.

Here’s a few peeks at the game from adult swim and Rick and Morty creators and stars Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon:
