After the long, long decade of rumors, combined with many refusals to believe it was true, as well as my consistent coverage of this project all year, the massively desired sequel Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day has officially begun filming in Toronto.
Take that naysayers!
As a big fan of the original flick, I’m happy to see actual filming taking place and it’s very good to see Sean Patrick Flanery eating some food and being silly. At the same time, though, I’m still pretty antsy to see some images and footage of familiar faces back in action.
As I’ve previously reported, Sean Patrick Flanerywww.seanflanery.com and Norman Reedus (www.normanreedusonline.com) are returning for this film as the McManus brothers. Billy Connolly, David Della Rocco, and Brian Mahoney will also reprise their roles, while Aaron Berg has joined the cast as JoJo Rhama as has Clifton Collins Jr. as a new character.
Below are a couple new production diaries to check out.
On a side note, director Troy Duffy and crew are also doing a little contest where you can win some sweet gold and a trip to the land of Tim Hortons for a small role in the flick. Check out this link for info and watch the video below to get in and see the goods. A very, very cool contest.

Officially the most overrated movie ever. I’m sorry kids, but it was an entertaining watch, but not much more than The Transporter or The Professional for that matter.
If being a D&D kid is sad, being a Boondock Saints fan is pathetic.

You’re totally right. People should be ashamed of the movies they like and the hobbies they enjoyed as children. Fuck individuality. RIGHT ON! I’m so glad you took the time to write a comment like that on a website called… uh… GEEKS OF DOOM.
I’m so excited! I wish i could meet Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus! This movie has made me realize that I’m moving to Ireland as soon as I can.
I am such a huge fan or Boondock saints and am soo happy to see the second on being done finally. but i couldnt help but notice in the article you said David Della Rocco is going to be back… thats impossible, he died in the first one. i wish i could see him back since he was my favorite character… but he is dead.
AWESOME!!!!!!!! I hope it can live up to the expectations though! Because the first one kicked asssss and the world expects the same from the second one!
i have watched the boondock saints every day since my dad got it for me and whosoever say it is overrated or anything bad, then by man shall his blood be shed …..lol this is the best news ever i cant wait untill it comes out
