The $10 t-shirt deal of the day over at Teefury today is the Hobbit-inspired “Expert Treasure Hunters,” by artist Wheels.

The sale at Teefury began at midnight EST, Wednesday, June 15, 2011 and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it won’t be sold on the site anymore.

The limited-edition t-shirt is available in Men’s and Women’s sizes in Dark Chocolate.

Here’s what the artist had to say about this design:

This design is my love letter to Tolkien and his work. I’ve read The Hobbit at least three times and even listened to the audio book, so you could say I’m a bit of a fan. Once the film started production a couple months ago, I figured it was time to design something involving one of my favorite books. I thought it would be cool to imagine Thorin and the rest of the dwarfs as their own company, so that’s where the inspiration for a collegiate/company logo came from.
