The 99th Precinct shenanigans are back! Brooklyn Nine-Nine begins its 3rd hilariously hysterical season at the exact moment season 2 ended – with the elevator door opening. The gang was awaiting their new captain. That’s right. Madeline Wunch (guest star Kyra Sedgwick) finally got Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) into her witchy clutches, in the guise of a PR promotion. Gina (Chelsea Peretti) went with him (noooooo!!!!!). Peralta and Diaz (Andy Samberg and Melissa Fumero) finally kissed (yayyyyy!!!!).

Time Out of Mind ** out of *****
Directed by Oren Moverman
Starring Richard Gere, Jena Malone, Ben Vereen, Kyra Sedgwick, Danielle Brooks and Steve Buscemi
Theatrical Release Date: September 9, 2015
In a film that should have multiple scenes of intense emotional dilemma and existential inquiry, director Oren Moverman‘s massively confused film Time Out of Mind sadly serves up only two such scenes. Wrought with the struggle of establishing a gritty art-house picture doubling as social commentary film, Moverman loses a lot of the intimacy he so desperately yearns to capture as he did respectfully in his last effort, Rampart.
Seriously, what DID we do for entertainment before the Internet? I mean, now big time A-list stars go on YouTube and spoof their own work for our enjoyment. Take the new Funny AND Die video based on FOX’s hit thriller, The Following.
Star of the television series Kevin Bacon sits with Oz and Battle Creek star Dean Winters at the Steiner Studio cafeteria talking about his show. “I play this FBI agent Ryan Hardy who’s hunting a cult of serial killers.” “Sounds hilarious.” Bacon describes how working on the show feeds his paranoia and of course the second he leaves for the bathroom, Dean answers his ringing phone and of course Joe Carroll himself in on the phone from prison. James Purefoy revels in the bit as he tells Dean how he is going to sic his following on him.
