| Starz Renews ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ For Season 3
In front of an army of chainsaw foam finger-wearing Ash vs Evil Dead fans at Hammerstein Ballroom for New York Comic-Con on Thursday afternoon, star Bruce Campbell told the screaming crowd that the only way to guarantee more seasons of the show they loved was to subscribe to Starz network and download the Starz App. Literally one day later, Ash vs Evil Dead was renewed by Starz for a third season.

Ash vs Evil Dead was unquestionably my favorite new show of last year. Debuting on the Starz network on Halloween, it picked up with a now older and not yet wiser Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell), who mistakenly awoke the evil dead by reading from the Necronomicon, while getting high with a lady friend. Things did not go well from then and he was forced to once again don the chainsaw and boomstick to fight evil. Only this time he wasn’t alone. He had sidekicks Pablo (Ray Santiago) and Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) along for the ride, with Ruby (Lucy Lawless) in hot pursuit. Now, the network has released the Season 2 premiere episode, “Home,” early for online viewers for free at their site. It’s also available now through on STARZ On Demand. The premiere will air on the Starz cable channel this Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 8pm EST.

| Interview: Dana DeLorenzo From Starz’s ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ |
 |

The only thing that could possibly be better than spending a week in Orlando with my family, was finding out that while I was on said vacation I’d be interviewing three cast members from one of my favorite shows, Ash vs Evil Dead. Debuting on Halloween night 2015 on the Starz network, AvED perfectly captured the craziness of Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead trilogy. There’s blood, gore, Bruce Campbell one-liners, deadites and demons, more blood, and more gore. The new series has something that none of the originals had: kickass female characters. Since the original film in 1981, Ash Williams has been rescuing damsels in distress from the clutches of deadites, or sawing their heads in half once they got possessed. In the TV series, Ash faces a slew of fiery badasses who fight alongside and against him including Lucy Lawless (Ruby) and Jill Marie Jones (Agent Fisher). The main female on the show though is Dana DeLorenzo, who plays Kelly Maxwell, one of Ash’s noble sidekicks along with Pablo (Ray Santiago). I got the chance to interview her, while standing off in the one quiet sections of Universal Studios, Florida. Check out the interview here below.

| Lee Majors Cast In Season 2 of ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’
A breakout hit for the Starz network, Ash vs Evil Dead debuted on Halloween 2015. Over 10 30-minute episodes, we watched Ash (Bruce Campbell) cope with his aging body, beaten down automobile, neverending ego, and oh yeah… deadites, lots and lots of deadites. For over 30 years, Ash has been a groovy chainsaw armed Lothario ruthlessly killing deadites, and flirting with any girl within arm’s length. Well, if you ever wondered where he got it from, look no further. Debuting later this year in season 2 will be Ash’s Dad, Brock Williams, played by the Six Million Dollar Man himself, Lee Majors. More below.
