Autograph site Official Pix has posted a new image from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, featuring Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones.
The site will start accepting pre-orders today for their stock of 50 autographed (by Ford) 11×14-inch copies of the photo. (At a hefty price, too!)
The site doesn’t have a high-res version of the pic, but there is a closer look at the top portion of the photo. Click the image here at right for that larger view where you can more clearly see on the left what looks like the top of a skeleton (… or is it? Is it even human? Hmm…).
More images have hit the ‘net this week. First up, Empire has posted a clearer version of their exclusive photo of Cate Blanchett as Russian agent Spalko, Indy’s nemesis, which appeared in their print magazine this month. Along with the image, the magazine hints:
Notice how the guards behind Indy are wearing US army uniforms and not Russian? All is apparently not what it seems.
Good point!
A scanned version of the magazine layout made its way around the Internet last week.
Also, spoiler photos were leaked online yesterday (and were immediately taken down at Paramount’s very urgent “request”).
One spoiler image came from Action Figure Insider of the upcoming import line of 1.5 inch mini PVC figures and props, which included a “crystal skull” piece. The other (and WAY MORE spoiler) image came from MovieWeb, which posted a clear photo from the film of the actual crystal skull, which is believed to be the specific supernatural relic that Indy will be racing against the Soviets to find in South America.
Both images have since been taken down from each site, as well as from many of the sites that picked up the story.
Is it May 22 yet?

So who’s the old man in the picture?
Did he lose something?
I mean, it looks like he’s searching for something with that flashlight and all.
