One of The Asylum’s top attractions, Mega Shark, is back for its third “versus” flick. Having previously tangled with Giant Octopus and locked jaws with Crocosaurus, the massive shark must now contend with a top-secret government creation Mecha Shark in hopes of stopping the beast once and for all.

In anticipation of The Asylum’s Mega Shark vs Mecha Shark, which hits Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD on January 28, 2014, the studio has released a new trailer, which you can watch in full below. The movie, directed by Emile Edwin Smith, brings back Mega Shark star Debbie Gibson and also features Christopher Judge and Elisabeth Rohm.

The film’s namesake is of course pulled from the 1974 Godzilla Vs. Mechagodzilla though the story is more in line with the more recent Pacific Rim with humans creating Jaegers to stop monsters rather than aliens creating the mechanized beast to stop Godzilla.
