It’s almost time for Disney’s newest princess, the exquisite Princess Tiana, to make her debut in Disney’s upcoming The Princess and The Frog. Like many wannabe princesses, I’m anxiously awaiting my chance to become acquainted with Tiana and her friends from the bayou of New Orleans, and we get a chance to do just that in this new video featuring Anika Noni Rose, the voice of Princess Tiana.
Check out the video here below.
Rose is truly lovely, and her love for her role shines brightly through as she talks about some of her favorite characters and music from the movie.
Fortunately, there’s no need to wait for the film’s November 25th limited release to hear the music that accompanies this latest Disney masterpiece! The Princess and the Frog Soundtrack is being released on November 23 and may be pre-ordered right now.
The opening track is the movie’s theme song, “Never Knew I Needed,” sung by R&B star Ne-Yo. For a sneak peak of this and the rest of the diverse mix of New Orleans-inspired music including Jazz, Gospel, and Zydeco tunes composed by the incredible Randy Newman, head over to Walt Disney Records and give a listen.
