Jimmy Fallon and Michelle Obama got back together after two years for “The Evolution of Mom Dancing Part 2” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week, as part of her “Let’s Move! campaign.

Wearing matching cardigans, Fallon definitely looked the more “mom” of the two, but just like the last mom dancing tutorial, the moves were classic and the laughs aplenty. With dances like the “Shimmy Twist” and “You Go Girl,” the First Lady and the first man of late night (yes – I said it) mixed rhythm with awkwardness like a team, up until the point Fallon started doing the “Barack Obama,” to which Michelle gave the ultimate death look, the weapon of moms everywhere. She retaliated with the “Jimmy Fallon,” which consisted of pointing fingers up and down. Fallon pretended to be upset, but then joined right in.

The Let’s Move! campaign is in its 5th year, and encourages families to adopt healthy habits together, wherever they can. This year:

Let’s CELEBRATE what we have achieved together – the national conversation we have started, the changes we are seeing at every level from families’ homes to grocery stores to schools and communities.

Let’s CHALLENGE each other to dig deeper and do more to support our kids’ health. While we have come a long way, there is still a long way to go to ensure all kids have the opportunity to grow up healthy.

Let’s CHAMPION this issue for the long term. Let’s continue to innovate and collaborate to nurture our children into the future.
