The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon had America’s (really England’s) hottest Brit, Benedict Cumberbatch on last night, there to promote his latest film, Doctor Strange. But in a most dramatic (comedic) turn, Jimmy Fallon and Cumberbatch did some “Mad Lib Theater” to the delight of everyone.
Check out the fantastic scene below.
This may be my new favorite bit. Some words: gyrating, little toe, eggs, crumbs!, and more….
Fallon to Cumberbatch: “You are a very interesting gentleman.” Yes he is.
The scene is in a police interrogation room. Fallon is the suspect, and Cumberbatch is the detective.
“4,229 eggs were stolen from Macy’s.”
“Where were you on the night of Chanukah?”
I’m not giving anymore away. You just have to watch it. It is 6 minutes of smiles. Just them cracking up during the scene is awesomeness in itself. They sing a little ditty at the end too.
I know my Jimmy has writers and he writes stuff too, but whomever came up with this bit is incredibly clever. Mad Libs are never not fun.
Doctor Strange is in theaters right now. Go see it!
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35pm ET on NBC.
