Jimmy Fallon opened the 2017 Golden Globes as wonderfully as I knew he would – with a song and a dance and many many guests. It was almost 5 minutes of smiles with a La-La Land “City of Stars” parody, complete with dancing on cars.

It’s perfect. My Jimmy is a song and dance man. He is joined by the practiced pipes of Nicole Kidman (Moulin Rouge) and Amy Adams (Enchanted), , John Travolta does his Saturday Night Fever stance, Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) comes to life. Rami Malek hacks Jimmy’s computer, and the Stranger Things kids rap and reveal…

“Barb is still alive!!!” Is that real? Is it true? It trended so it must be true.

And at the end… the clip ends with Jimmy reuniting with Tina Fey, his SNL “Weekend Update” cohost, but he pushes her away for his one true love (and mine), Justin Timberlake, where they show their love through their La-La Land dance.
