A trailer has been released for the first installment of an upcoming comic book series from Halloween, The Thing, Escape from New York, Big Trouble in Little China, and They Live director John Carpenter and his wife Sandy King.
The comic is a monthly anthology series titled Tales of Science Fiction, which is set to kick off this summer. Click on over to the other side now to read more and check out the trailer.
Tales of Science Fiction will kick off with a three-part story arc titled “Vault” written by James Ninness with art by Andres Esparza.
Here’s a description:
When the moon-bound crew of Gaia stumbles across an enormous alien vessel, more technologically advanced than their own, priorities change. The mystery deepens when the crew discovers the name of the vessel along the hull.
Joining “Vault” it is an eight-part arc titled “Vortex” with Mike Sizemore writing and art by Dave Kennedy; followed by another three-part arc next year titled “Untitled,” written by Louise Simonson with art by Guy Dorian.
Tales of Science Fiction is through Storm King Comics, who also publish Carpenter’s Asylum and Tales for a HalloweeNight comics.
