It seems only fitting that I should make this comic my first review of 2019. I have been absent due to a new job that was far more than I could have anticipated but I wanted to make my comeback this week and start writing again. To that point, Buffy the Vampire Slayer #1 is the perfect vehicle for this as it is also a reboot of epic proportions!

I haven’t written anything about Buffy Summers since 2011, so I would definitely say it is about time. So without any further jabbering on my part, let me get to it!

I recently had the pleasure of reading the new graphic novel Judas. I was curious what sort of spin this comic would take, but was astounded when I actually did get to read it in its entirety. Sisters of Sorrow #1 is possibly one of the most violent comics I have read in months. So obviously I loved it from start to finish, of course. You know that saying that starts with “Hell hath no fury…” and has been around longer than we can remember? Yeah, it’s not wrong and this comic is a perfect reflection of that same righteous anger.
