As if their fruitless attack on The Muppets wasn’t pathetic enough, the propagandatrons at Fox News are continuing to attempt to scare their viewers with that most dreaded of boogeymen – Liberal Hollywood!
Recently Fox Business News anchor Lou Dobbs accused the recently released Disney/Studio Ghibli animated Japanese import The Secret World of Arriety and the soon-to-be-released CGI-animated kids’ comedy Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax of indoctrinating America’s youth into an evil, anti-capitalist, eco-friendly liberal mindset.
You can watch the video here below.
In The Lorax the title character (voiced by Danny DeVito) is a gruff woodland creature who’s mighty ticked at the destruction of his homeland via industrialized deforestation. The Secret World of Arriety, which is based on the classic children’s book The Borrowers, is about a family of four-inch tall people who survive by borrowing simple items from a normal-sized family.
Dobbs is the once-respected CNN anchor who lost his show at the cable network for using it to push his anti-immigration views and flog night after night the long-dispelled myth that President Obama was not born in the United States. It’s no surprise that he ended up where all news media pariahs go to die, Fox News. Naturally Dobbs used his rant against The Lorax and Arriety to get in a few digs at the President, who had nothing to do with these movies but that’s not going to stop ol’ Lou because the number one rule at Fox is that “everything is Obama’s fault.”
Joining Dobbs to discuss the insidious liberal plot to use popular forms of entertainment to educate and enlighten the leaders of tomorrow are three right-wing radio show hosts. Wow, what a shining panel of “experts.” After Dobbs and his sniveling yes men finished laughing and shaking their heads at the latest antics of liberal Hollywood they all went over to Lou’s house for a sleepover with Rick Santorum.
The Secret World of Arriety is in select theaters now. Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax opens on March 2, 2012. Lou Dobbs can soon be seen working as a greeter at a Walmart near you.

Thank God that “Princess Mononoke” isn’t back in theaters, otherwise these nitwits would think it was the 7th sign of the apocalypse!
