The new Paranormal Activity 4 trailer quickly establishes that there is a connection between it and Paranormal Activity 2. It all begins with a home surveillance camera capturing a very familiar possessed woman snatching a boy and then walking off into the darkness. The trailer than flash forwards to last year, where we are introduced to a new family, and the evil spirits that haunt their chandeliers, Skype, and Xbox Kinect.
Check out the brand new trailer for Paranormal Activity 4 below.
Henry Joose and Ariel Schulman return to direct the third sequel to the Paranormal Activity franchise. Whether or not the film involves Katie and Hunter remains a mystery, but the trailer certainly implies that there is a connection between the two.
The new film follows a neighboring mother taken to a hospital, forcing a family next door to temporarily adopt her boy. However, the young guest’s presence causes all sorts of chaotic mishaps to occur. The daughter of the host family is the only one who suspects that there is more to the boy than he lets on, and she begins to investigate the strange activity that has been happening in their house.
There are a lot of clues that point out that the mysterious family is indeed the same Katie and Hunter that went missing after Paranormal Activity 2. The writing is literally on the wall. For some reason, the boy hiding behind corners, sneaking up on characters, or pulling them from under their feet doesn’t scare me. What freaks me out the most is the way he looks at you while the Kinect dots circle around him.
Apple has the HD trailer and Bloody Disgusting provides the embed.
Paranormal Activity opens in theaters on October 19.

I don’t get what people see in these movies.
