Last Sunday saw the Season 4 premiere of Game Of Thrones, and with over 8.2 million viewers that night, the episode is now not only the most-watched one for the series, but it was also the second most watched episode of any HBO show (the most-watched being the 2007 series finale of The Sopranos, which landed 11.9 million viewers). Soon after, HBO announced it has given the greenlight for a Season 5 and 6.
The second episode of Season 4 airs tonight at 9pm and here below you can watch a preview of “The Lion and the Rose,” the title of which refers to the sigils of House Lannister (for King Joffrey, a true Lannister lion) and House Tyrell (for the rose Margaery Tyrell, Joffery’s betrothed).
Tyrion lends Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) a hand. Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) and Margaery (Natalie Dormer) host a breakfast. At Dragonstone, Stannis (Stephen Dillane) loses patience with Davos (Liam Cunningham). Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) finds a purpose for his pet. North of the Wall, Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) sees where they must go.
