A new trailer and poster has been released for Jay and Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie, the upcoming animated flick based on the popular Kevin Smith characters.
Smith and Jason Mewes will once again voice the characters…but mostly just Mewes, of course…as they win the lottery and use the money to become their superhero alter egos, Bluntman and Chronic.
You can check out the short new trailer, a much longer older trailer if you’ve not seen it before, and the poster below.
It should go without saying, but these should be considered NSFW.
Jay and Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie hits on demand starting May 6th.

The Clerks animated TV show was thoroughly awesome… but with its crap animation and humor that seems more vulgar than any of the live action films (if these trailers are any indication), this looks like it belongs on Adult Swim.

This is a one-man animation made over a year. The TV show had a $500,000 per 20-minute episode budget. This 90-minute film was made for $69,000. What do you expect?
How can you tell anything about the ‘vulgar’ humor if you’ve not actually seen it? (which you admit by saying how it ‘looks from the trailers’)
Face it, you’re a Kevin smith hater, posing as a fan to bitch about his work. You say it belongs on Adult Swim even though, being a Kevin Smith script, it would clearly be to crude for TV.
Go away.
