After the success of Marvel’s reboot of the Hulk in The Incredible Hulk, 20th Century Fox is apparently “seriously” looking at rebooting another of their controlled properties, Daredevil.
In an interview with IESB, Fox co-chairman Tom Rothman said that “a Daredevil, to use your words, reboot, is something we are thinking very seriously about.”
Apparently Fox has all the necessary rights to make a reboot of the film, but Rothman believes that what Daredevil needs to make it off the ground as a reboot is “a director, honestly, who has a genuine vision.”
Daredevil was first brought to life onscreen by Ben Affleck in the 2003 Mark Steven Johnson feature, which also starred Affleck’s wife Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Colin Farrell as Bullseye, and Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin.
I would love to see someone take another crack at Daredevil, because the character has so much potential to make a great movie. But the focus needs to be taken away from it being a “superstar actor” movie and make it a movie about the characters, and not who’s playing the characters.
Get it? A director with “vision”?
Sorry, I’m in the mood to poke fun

I think the last Daredevil movie was OK, the Director’s Cut was actually waaaay better.
However, YES this movie should be rebooted…it’s a great character and universe that deserves better treatment.
Jason Statham?!?!
