August Game Informer Reveals ‘Dragon Age 2’

Merkader   |

Dragon Age: Origins is a game that I just can’t seem to finish, let alone touch the Downloadable Content. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good award-winning game, it’s just fallen to new more new fresh games.

Well game developer Bioware isn’t waiting for me to finish the first game, or the expansions. The August cover of Game Informer reveals Dragon Age 2!

The game will feature an all new hero and a new region to the Dragon Age Universe. No release date has been announced, since all we have is the cover to the magazine. The article inside is 10 pages so stay tuned for some additional information once we have it.

The first Dragon Age was a straight fantasy RPG, and was well done. I didn’t expect great things, but was pleasantly surprised. Now that the first title was so good, Bioware better have something good up their sleeve!

  1. The game was fine and now it’s ruined thanks a lot. PS: It cannot be called a sequel because has nothing to do with the prequel. How is this fair to DAO players? All that time getting attached to companions and developing OUR PERSONAL CHARACTERS was for nothing? Now we have some ingenious invention named Hawke. Not buying this game. I wish somebody would make a true sequel not some ME inspired garbage!!!

  2. Im sick and tired of everyone screaming how bad this game ‘might’ be. If you want to yell your head off how bad it is AFTER you play the game, all the more power to you. Assuming its going to be horribal before its even realased is idiotic. Somehow bioware games always pulls a mircale out of their technocolored butt.

  3. Ok guys honestly heres my opinion….

This game… it may be good, i wont lie it sounds like a nice game and i will definitely buy it but… I’m very let down being a DAO fan.

    Reasons are:

    -Character customization –
I loved the options, the story, how race mattered and how it affects your gameplay i loved that and i also enjoyed having your own tale. It was always fun seeing the different sides of how games started. Like with dwarfs choosing your economic background, Elves if city or wild life, humans mage or not etc. That was an incredible way feature they had and it kept you going like to make new characters and work up the your story.

    -Story-
Idk about any other DAO fans but i honestly liked making your characters own story. With different races, means different stories or so. Like it matters when you are a dwarf or an elf, etc. I loved being able to see how things could change. Also your personal character’s story to continue or to give us a person choice. I mean they could’ve done it (SOMEONE escapes…) not a picked character (Hawke escapes…) it would’ve been nice to see how YOUR character manages to become this champion. Not a pre-made placed character.

    Gameplay–
Idk BG fans — anyone pissed they finally brought back that style now they’re turning towards mass effect type. Its kinda a let down.

ME was a good game but i liked DOA bringing back BG actual style.
    ————————–

Well those points are where i have to make a stand say “I need to look at this as a separate game”. Separately, it looks nice. Telling the tale how Hawke escapes and how he becomes champion. great and new type of game play … Ok at least they’re trying something new…

Not a whole lot because i never played or so yet.

But overall i must say I’m not too happy about this, i wish they just made more expansions not “2”
