You may have heard of a little graphic novel called Scott Pilgrim. You may have even seen the movie Scott Pilgrim Vs the World, which opened in theaters today. If you have, then you know that in this tale, Scott has to fight Ramona’s evil exes, and one of them is an actor named Lucas Lee (played by Chris Evans). Lucas Lee isn’t a very good actor, but he’s an actor nonetheless.
If you’re curious about Lee’s film credits, there’s some movie posters for the fake movies he’s starred in, like Action Doctor and The Game Is Over 2 — they are fantastic!
The posters are over at Empire, so check them out. I think my favorite is “Let’s Hope There Is A Heaven,” it’s fantastically cheesy! Make sure you pay close attention to the taglines.
Below is a quote from Empire’s article where they make note of Evans’ awesome eyebrow action, as well as a tagline from one of the posters.
Featuring some of the greatest eyebrow work you’ll ever see from Lee’s alter-ego Chris Evans, this is a selection of some of the crappy movies that Lucas Lee has apparently made since breaking up with Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead).
Highlight: the tagline for Action Doctor, which reads: “The good news is you’re going to live. The bad news is he’s going to kill you!” Someone needs to make this film AT ONCE.
Don’t be surprised when someone does make this movie, just look what happened with Machete!
