Ever wanted to see what Michael Fassbender would look like in drag? First, why is that something you think about? And second, now you have your wish, no matter how creepy or odd this writer may think it is.
All joking aside, Entertainment Weekly has revealed a deleted scene from X-Men: First Class, which will be on the DVD and Blu-ray coming out on September 9, 2011.
The deleted clip is actually part of a segment from the movie that finds our two leads, Magneto (Fassbender) and Professor X (James McAvoy), in a club hunting down a mutant named Angel. Magneto demonstrates his power in order to convince her that they too are, different, while [here’s the deleted snippet] Professor X makes Angel believe that she is seeing Magneto in drag. And yup, it’s as odd as one would expect it.
Personally, I actually kind of dig the scene, and are unsure why it was left on the cutting room floor. I think it adds a really humorous beat into what was an already entertaining film. It’s not the greatest scene ever, but I do really quite like it. What do you think?
