The $10 t-shirt deal of the day over at TeeFury today is a Futurama-themed shirt called “Mars University” by artist kgullholmen.

The sale began at Teefury today, Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at midnight EST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site anymore.

The t-shirt is available in men’s sizes in kelly green and women’s sizes in navy blue for $10 each.

About the design:

Inspired by FUTURAMA’s Mars University and their official colours, that huge, unexplained statue on their campus and of course their motto, this is as close as you can get to having an officially unofficial MARS U shirt.

Details include (but are not limited to) Mars U’s official motto KNOWLEDGE BRINGS FEAR, a hidden mars face, a nifty plate with the university’s official founding date (as stated by MU Prof. H.J. Farnsworth) and a depiction of Mars’ two moons, Phobos & Deimos (which is Greek for fear & terror). The Alien script reads MU’s second motto “A giant pulsating mind is a terrible thing to waste”.
