Comixology and Cartoon Books have announced a 3-day half-off digital comics deal for one of the most critically acclaimed comic books of all time, Jeff Smith‘s Bone.
Hey digital comics lovers, you’ve heard of Bone, right? Well, if you have and you haven’t read it yet, I know that you’ve been meaning to read this epic comic for quite some time. How do I know that? Because I’m one of you. Sure, I’ve read some of it, but it’s been a very long time since I have and I barely remember what I read. So, this sale is for us. We can read the entire series for only 99 cents an issue and a per-collection price ranging from $3.99 to $5.99. Considering Bone‘s extensive length, I’d say that’s quite a deal.
But for those of you that haven’t heard it, I can’t totally sell you on this because I haven’t read the entire thing, but everyone I know that has is incredibly in love with it. I’ve been told that it’s very Lord of The Rings-ish without taking place on Middle Earth and it doesn’t have Orcs, Elves, or Hobbitses. But, I’ve been told that this book is based on a journey. It’s beautiful and is all-ages in that it’s really for all ages. There’s stuff in there for kids, but there’s plenty to be enjoyed by adults, teenagers, and really all people of every age bracket, as well.
Jeff Smith has been credited as being one the greatest cartoonist of all time, and Bone has been named as his seminal work, so if you’d like to broaden your horizons and check out what I’ve been told is one of the greatest comic books of all time, then do yourself a favor and head over to Comixology right now and pick these digital copies up as soon as possible. Don’t want to pick up the entire series? Fine, then at the very least pay the $3.99 and get the first volume as a try out, I’m sure you won’t regret it.
You’ve only got just under three days to participate in this fantastic Bone sale. Seriously, the sale ends on January 19 at 11pm EST, so make sure you don’t miss out! And don’t say I didn’t tell you about it, I’ve got proof.
