A while back a trailer for the restored 50th anniversary edition of Lawrence of Arabia was released, and with it came word that the movie would also likely be getting a theatrical re-released in celebration of the milestone.
The theatrical re-release has since been confirmed, but it won’t be an extended run. It won’t even be two days. For one day and one day only this Thursday, October 4th, at 7:00 p.m. local the classic movie will return to select theaters in all its restored glory.

As part of the event, bonus features will also be shown including an introduction by Omar Shariff, footage of the New York premiere, and an interview with Martin Scorsese. A 15-minute intermission will also be part of the event’s runtime.
