Season two of Kaijudo is upon us but this season the name has changed a bit, reflecting the shift in the game and the animated series. While the first season was called Rise Of The Duel Masters, this season is aptly named Kaijudo: Clash Of The Duel Masters. Continuing to center around Raiden “Ray” Pierce-Okamoto and his friends Allison “Allie” Underhill and Gabriel “Gabe” Wallace, the series starts a brand new season Friday, June 21, 2013.
Kicking off with the first episode entitled “The Butterfly Effect,” we see that our heroes are back in the thick of it. Trying to save the wonderful creatures known as kaiju from The Choten and his plans of world domination is a full time job, it’s truly amazing these kids find time for school. Aided by the enigmatic Duel Masters, they fight for the survival of not just the creatures from the other side of The Veil but for the entire world, too!
Produced by Hasbro Studios and MOI Animation, this American animated series has been a hit for the Kaijudo franchise. You can see these ‘toons every Friday on The Hub! And if you’ve missed the first season, you can catch up on Netflix! And of course don’t forget about the game, I’ve even written about it a couple of times, here and here!
Don’t miss out, it’s fun for the whole family!

Is there any enjoyment in it for adults?

If they are anime fans then probably. It’s the Americanized version of anime but still stylized the same.

Yes very much so. This show is very well written and a pleasure to watch. General Finbarr is a gigantic jerk in this particular episode – the show is so much fun to watch. I also play the TCG.
