The $11 t-shirt deal of the day over at TeeFury today is called “A Lannister Always”¦” by dylanwho and is inspired by Game Of Thrones. $1 from one of these shirts sold will go to the Best Friends Animal Society, a wonderful animal charity (one that I have been regularly supporting for years).
The sale began at Teefury today, Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at midnight EST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site for $11 anymore, though it will continue into the next day for $14 (look for the After Hours bar at the top).
Teefury now offers a few colors for each design; click on the color blocks in the “Select your color, size & quantity” area to preview each color. Men’s sizes are S-XL for $11, 2XL (add $1), and 3XL (add $2); Women’s sizes are S-XL for $11, 2XL (add $1), and 3XL (add $2); and Youth sizes are XS-XL. Visit the sale page to get today’s tee or to grab yesterday’s design.
Per the artist:
I have always been fascinated with heraldry and Anglo-Saxon tradition; that and my own lineage, might I say, what with myself having been descended from the manor-born. As an ARTISTIC act, it is a new way to further the preservation of the old traditions and the aristocracy itself, for I believe that society runs more smoothly when an Establishment is firmly in place to deal with the day-to-day—- Aw geez. I was trying to strike the right balance between what one might actually find hanging somewhere in King’s Landing, and what Arya Stark might have done to it in stealth, using the skills acquired from her dancing master and limited sewing techniques she had learned from her septa. And a Lion of Lannister in a Cone of Shame. I am hoping this happens in Book 7. FINGERS CROSSED.
