Destiny Image

Week after week, the dedicated Destiny players look forward to a visit from the lovable Agent of the Nine, Xur. And week after week, the second most disappointing vendor in all of gaming delivers another failtacular selection that doesn’t include a Gjallorhorn. Looks like a good week to hang on to your coins in my opinion, unless you wanna stock up on Heavy Ammo Synthesis.

Here’s what Xur the Disappointing offers this week:

No Land Beyond (exotic sniper rifle) – 17 strange coins
Kinectic Damage
Attack: 302/331
Primary Care (This exotic sniper rifle can be equipped in the primary weapon slot.)
Mulligan (Missing a shot has a chance to return ammo directly to the magazine)
The Master (Increased precision damage. Kills briefly increase damage against next target.)

Crest of Alpha Lupi (Titan chest) – 13 strange coins
Defense: 444/488
Light: 30/36
Auto Rifle Ammo (Increases the amount of auto rifle ammo you can carry)
Special Weapon Ammo (Increases the amount of special weapon ammo you can carry)
Keeper of the Pack (Revive teammates faster, they revive you faster, super spawns additional orbs)

Radiant Dance Machines (Hunter shoes) – 13 strange coins
Defense: 296/325
Light: 30/36
Heavy Weapon Ammo (Increases the amount of heavy weapon ammo you can carry)
The Dance (You move more quickly while aiming your weapon.)

Voidfang Vestments (Warlock chest) – 13 strange coins
Defense: 444/488
Light: 30/36
Hand Cannon Ammo (Increases the amount of hand cannon ammo you can carry)
Special Weapon Ammo (Increases the amount of special weapon ammo you can carry)
Improved Axion Bolt (Axion Bolt grenade spawns an additional seeker. Respawn with full grenade energy.)

In the non-exotic weapons and armor categories:

Exotic Shard (7 Strange Coins)
Urn of Sacrifice (1 Strange Coin)
Telemetry- Auto Rifle (1 Strange Coin)
Telemetry-Fusion Cannons (1 Strange Coin)
Telemetry-Shotgun (1 Strange Coin)
Heavy Ammo Synthesis-5 pack (1 Strange Coin)
Exotic Chest Engram (23 Motes of Light)

This week’s upgrade list includes the following:

Knucklehead Radar (Hunter helmet)
Achlyophage Symbiote (Hunter helmet)
An Insurmountable Skullfort (Titan helmet)
Crest of Alpha Lupi (Titan chest)
No Backup Plans (Titan gauntlets)
Voidfang Vestments (Warlock chest)
Sunbreakers (Warlock gauntlets)
Hard Light (auto rifle)
Bad Juju (pulse rifle)
MIDA Multi-Tool (scout rifle)
Last Word (hand cannon)
Invective (shotgun)
Plan C (fusion rifle)
Monte Carlo (auto rifle)

If something on this list for Destiny indeed suits your fancy, you can find Xur next to the Crucible quartermaster in the Tower through Sunday morning. For my own Titan, I will probably be picking up some telemetry for my auto rifle and shotgun that I’ve picked up this week in the Iron Banner event (which continues through to server reset on Tuesday).

Happy Hunting, Guardians!
