Among the many wondrous booths at New York Comic-Con this weekend, designed to part you from your money, there is a little “jewel” nestled in “The Block.” RockLove Jewelry is selling their exquisite television, movie, and video game inspired pieces, as well as their one-of-a-kind collections at NYCC at Booth #510, and the response has been more than expected.
Check out some of the pieces in the image gallery below.
If you pass by the booth, you will get to meet designer Allison Hourcade, and her team ready to give you the story behind each piece.
By the time I got there, they had already sold out of the wildly popular Celestial Spiral Earrings from the Aurora collection, but still had the North Star necklace. The booth is also the only place left to get your “Destiny” jewelry.
A big fan of Outlander, and the proud owner of the “Outlander Luckenbooth Thistle Earrings,” Allison explained why she’s particularly proud of that line. Outlander gave her the opportunity to design figuratively in conjunction with literal designs, so as to please the fans of both the books and the show, resulting in a romantic line. As a fan of both the books and the show, I would have to agree with the sentiment and the results. The line is exquisite.
I also have my eye on the Penny Dreadful snake ring, and made sure my husband knew it.
Make sure to stop by Booth #510 before NYCC is gone for another year!
