The Walking Dead Episode 513 Forget Rick Grimes

SPOILERS for The Walking Dead Episode 513 “Forget.”

AMC’s The Walking Dead Episode 513 “Forget” aired tonight, showing Rick embracing his new position at the Alexandria Safe Zone as constable, with Michonne as his deputy. But, while Rick and the group are settling in to their new too-good-to-be-true home, they are still watching their backs and are making back-up plans to protect themselves. Meanwhile, as the main group is attending a welcome dinner party, where Sasha is having the hardest time adjusting to normalcy, Daryl is back with Aaron and Eric eating spaghetti and talking about what the future holds for him.

The network has released the “most talked about scene” from the episode, which was a very unsettling moment when little Sam catches Carol in the armory and she threatens that if he tells anyone about it, she’ll leave him for dead in a horrible way. AMC has also released two behind-the-scenes featurettes — one is a 2-minute “Making of” featurette that centers on the welcome dinner party, while the other is a 5-minute “Inside Look” at the episode that takes a look at Carol’s plot to steal the guns; Sasha’s struggle with survivor’s guilt; and Daryl and Aaron’s attempt to get Buttons the horse.

You can watch all the videos here below.

Rick and the group continue to acclimate to their new surroundings. Will they be able to go back to normalcy? Better yet, what is normal now?

While trying to secure their new home, Rick and his group face many challenges, some life threatening. Is this really the utopia it seems to be?

The Walking Dead red letter AOne thing to note about this episode – at the welcome dinner party, little Sam points out that Rick doesn’t have a hand “stamp,” which turns out to be a red capital A, the same mark that Terminus psycho Gareth put on the church (from Episode 5.3 — click thumbnail here at right to see it on the church wall) and that was on the train car that Rick and his group were being held in at Terminus.

The Walking Dead, which stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Chandler Riggs, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Michael Cudlitz, and more, is back at AMC on Sunday nights at 9/8c, followed by the post-live show Talking Dead hosted by Chris Hardwick.

The Walking Dead Season 5.2 Synopsis:

After the tragic events of the mid-season finale — as well as losing the possibility of a cure in Washington, DC — Rick Grimes’ band of survivors find themselves on the road, surviving day to day and trying to hold on to their shredded humanity and dwindling hope.

Stripped of security and without a direction for the future, some of the group near their breaking point, some find themselves hardened and cold and some just try to grasp on to what little they have left.

Though they are still breathing, the line between Rick’s group and the dead is starting to blur.

Could there be anything at this point that brings them back to life?
