If there was any reason to doubt why one would love the crazy, violent, funny, gross, and outlandish FX series The Strain, that was put to bed today at the San Diego Comic-Con panel held on Thursday in Ballroom 20. They made a music video spoofing on the show. The panel included show creators Carlton Cuse and Chuck Hogan, as well as cast members Ruta Gedmintas and Kevin Durand, who were all on hand to dish about the strigoi and the heroes.
Check out the video here below.
Cuse starts the clip, talking about FX – “They’re looking for us to do something more distinctive.” One suggestion is putting Dutch in a threesome. That would work.
Durand and Bradley walk up and want to show what they have been working on. “Lights!”
Then starts the magnificence that is Kevin Durand singing and rapping. The video flashes through scenes from the show.
Professor, Doctor, Gus as well…
Let’s kill these suckers, send em back to Hell.
Now it’s time for the super Fet…
Cue… the guns. Sigh!
“Boom, boom, boom! The fun has just begun.” Then David Bradley raps and it’s over. He’s just awesome. He does a nice Vincent Price speaking part in there. Miguel Gomez is handsome and a good rapper… and handsome.
Vamps, Boom!
The Strain returns August 28, 2016 on FX.
Be sure to check out all of our coverage of this year’s SDCC.
