Call of Duty: Black Ops III Teaser

The next entry in the Call of Duty first person shooter franchise has been revealed, and seeing as how it’s Treyarch’s turn in the now three-developer rotation, it should come as no great shock to fans of the series that it is Black Ops III.

Nothing is known of the game yet and the trailer doesn’t show much—it’s mostly just voice over clips for the most part—but it does come with the promise of a worldwide reveal later this month on April 26th.

You can check out the teaser for Call of Duty: Black Ops III below if you wish to.

DEVELOPER: Treyarch
PUBLISHER: Activision
RELEASE DATE: November 13, 2012

Releasing a new title in a video game franchise every year is no easy task, and with it comes something of a curse. It’s still basically the same thing we’ve seen released by Ubisoft the past four years or so, but the setting change has clearly been appreciated and the game has gotten generally positive reviews. As for Call of Duty, developer Treyarch had the tricky task of revitalizing the franchise with their own sequel, Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

We knew zombies would be coming into play at some point, but now comes the official reveal trailer for the Black Ops II zombie mode…and it looks like they’ve shaken things up, much the same as they’re trying to do with the primary campaign.
