| SDCC 2016: We Became No One In ‘Game Of Thrones’ The Hall Of Faces
So this year’s San Diego Comic-Con International is in full swing and everyone is excited to geek out over whatever they geek out over. While most people were on the convention floor during Wednesday’s preview night getting an early read on the event, Geeks Of Doom was invited to explore the Con’s interactive Game Of Thrones exhibit, The Hall Of Faces. For those that don’t know, in HBO’s Game Of Thrones, there is a place in Braavos called the House of Black and White, and in it you can find a place appropriately called The Hall Of Faces, which houses the skinned faces of the dead. These faces are then worn by those who want to blend into the crowd so they can perform whatever deed needs to be done, namely assassinations. We were able to get an early look at what is going on inside SDCC’s Hall of Faces. Check out our photos here below.

| Photo Parade: The New York Comic-Con 2010 |
|
Ever say to yourself, “My, I sure like to experience a comic book convention without having to wait in long lines and weed through dense populated crowds?” Well, dear readers, you are in luck! Geeks of Doom is proud to present their photo coverage for this year’s New York Comic-Con. Let’s face it, what comics convention coverage is complete without yet another photo galley parade of the three-day event, which took place this year on October 8-10. In this gallery, you can see some of the sights, creators from both the comics and book industry, and booths that this year’s event had to offer. A special Geeky salute goes out to Jared Fowler, who was more than happy to provide us with some sweet-looking pictures. This gallery would be rather boring without some of Jared’s superb pics, so thanks big guy! Be on the lookout soon for our New York Comic-Con 2010 Cosplay Photos post coming real soon, where we give you a look at some of the coolest costumes at the Con. So what are you guys waiting for? Scroll through this awesome gallery and enjoy!

| 40 Notable Photos From Dragon*Con 2010We don’t necessarily need to do much of an introduction for the 40 notable photos taken by Geeks of Doom photographer Derek Deweese (and a few by myself, which you can tell by the crappy quality of my iPhone 3G) at Dragon*Con 2010. You can imagine the difficulty in sifting through your photos each night when there are five convention-sized hotels filled with costumed geeks. To do this over the good part of a week, well, you can see why it might be *somewhat* of a task. But, alas, check out our last batch of photo coverage of this year’s Dragon*Con after the jump.

| 20 Cosplay Babes of Dragon*Con 2010 (Part 2)Just as promised, here is the second part of our ladies of Dragon*Con 2010 photo feature. Saturday at the convention seemed twice as packed as the previous day. Seriously, Atlanta’s four largest hotel rooms were filled to capacity with costumed craziness and a handful of extremely puzzled out of towners that came in to watch college football. On a side note: what you’re not seeing is the large amount of ladies dressed as Merlotte’s Bar & Grill waitresses from HBO’s hit vampire drama True Blood. We haven’t featured any of them in these posts because the costume is pretty basic: white tee shirt with the Merlotte’s logo, a short skirt, and a green apron. Anyways, below are 20 more ladies we saw at the con that we *don’t* want you to miss. Also, don’t forget to check out part 1 for more photos if you haven’t already done so.

| 20 Cosplay Babes of Dragon*Con 2010 (Part 1)Last year, Geeks of Doom photographer Derek Deweese and I did a post featuring 25 costumed ladies of Dragon*Con that was quite popular with most people on the Internets, which caught us by *complete* surprise. I mean, who knew that sexy women dressed in geeky costumes at a giant fan convention would be such a huge hit right? Anyways, we’re back again this year and plan to do multiple posts since this is Dragon*Con — an event with more costumed people per square yard than anywhere in the world that I know of, including Halloween. Basically, more costumes equals more posts. Also, we took some flack for not doing a “Men of Dragon*Con” photo feature. This year we’ll have one as well as a ‘best of’ and probably a few others. So without further ado, check out part one of our cosplay women of Dragon*Con coverage…
