There has been a lot of building up to the first public glimpse of Guillermo del Toro‘s sci-fi action flick Pacific Rim.

So far we’ve seen many promotional photos and we along with a lucky few got to see the film in action at Comic-Con. But for those who have yet to see any footage, we must settle for the print promotions.

One of the few films that’s not a sequel or based on a recognizable superhero is Guillermo del Toro‘s “giant robots versus giant aliens” film Pacific Rim. Up to today we had only seen a photo of Idris Elba in a military uniform and a Comic-Con exclusive poster. But as we get closer to the movie’s SDCC panel, we are slowly getting more teases.

Two very cool images of Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy) and Rinko Kikuchi (The Brothers Bloom) suited up and ready for battle have been released, and you can check them out below.
