The Super Bowl typically sees some of the best ads of the year during its telecast, and during this Sunday’s game, we’re likely to see some really great material. TV spots for Disney’s Pirates Of The Caribbean and Paramount’s Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger promise to show new footage from the films, while Volkswagen is winning over the hearts of Star Wars fans everywhere with their “The Force” commercial.

“The Force”
The :30 humorous and emotional spot for the all-new 2012 Passat brings Star Warsâ„¢ to one of TV’s most talked about events. Accompanied by John Williams’ iconic song “The Imperial March,” the spot features a child dressed-up as Darth Vader, who uses the Force when he discovers the all-new 2012 Passat in the driveway.

According to Volkswagen, “The Force” commercial is scheduled to air during the game’s 2nd and 4th quarters, as will a second VW ad called “Black Beetle.”
