It should go without saying that one of the most hotly discussed television series set to come back this fall has to be AMC’s The Walking Dead.

Finally getting the chance to breath with a full season order following a six-episode debut season, AMC has gone and debuted the full-length trailer for the new season, and I must say, it looks better than ever.

The first season was admittedly a mixed bag, but despite the issues one may have had, there is no doubt that this is going to be the biggest show this fall, and for good reason. This writer found the first season to be well-made, well-acted, and ultimately massively compelling, and yes, the finale left much to be desired, but it left the viewer wanting more, which is all you can ask for, right? And this trailer kicks major ass. What’s better than that?

Season 2 of The Walking Dead premieres on Sunday, October 16 at 9pm ET/PT on AMC.
