Watch Now: ‘Cheers’ Meets ‘Star Wars’ In ‘Rouge Squadron’
space
BAADASSSSS!   |

Rouge Squadron

After a long day of blasting those pesky rebels into smoke and sparks there’s nothing better for the finest fighter pilots in the Empire than to sit down with their colleagues and enjoy a nice tall drink of whatever’s being served. If you’re a fan of the classic TV sitcom Cheers as well as the Star Wars movies, then you might get a kick out of this clever mash-up video Rouge Squadron, which you can watch here below.

The video sets Star Wars images to the catchy and bittersweet Cheers theme song. Even in a galaxy far, far away we all just want to go where everybody knows our name.

Warning: the name is spelled Rouge Squadron in the video and it may or may not be a typo, but if it’s not, then it makes no sense. [UPDATE: Rouge is correct, we’ve fixed it in this article; the folks over at http://www.rougesquadron.com created this. Sorry!]
