Granted there has been one too many films about the apocalypse and the fact that said events that were supposed to occur in December 21, 2012 never happened, we could probably use less of films whose plot centers on the end of the world. Luckily there are two films that will have comedic takes on end of the world situation: The World’s End directed by Edgar Wright and This Is The End written and directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The former film will hit theaters later this year, but it’s This Is The End we should be getting prepared for.

A new red-band trailer for the film has appeared, and it shows a lot more stars, cameos, deaths, and other drug-induced antics. Check it out here below.

Not to name or spoil any of the cameos, but all the deaths by lampposts, alien abductions, or being swallowed by the earth confirm that most of the roles these stars have are just cameo ones. But the film does follow the cast who star as themselves trying to survive the events of the apocalypse. Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride, and Craig Robinson all star as the main group who fortify their house to survive the apocalyptic threat.

It looks like there will be plenty of laughs in this film and since it does focus on the end of the world, no one really knows how any of the cast will react during certain situations.

This Is The End opens in theaters on June 6.
