Greetings my fair vamps, vamp lovers, and fang bangers, tis I, CrueChik, back with some Twilight Saga news.
After a little post-New Moon hibernation (really though, there was no actual hibernation, I’m never very far from all things Twilight, seeing as I watch the first film once a week”¦yeah, I admit it, don’t judge me), I have returned with a tasty morsel of information about the next installment in the saga, Eclipse, scheduled for release June 30, 2010.
Award-winning composer Howard Shore will be writing the score for the much anticipated continuation of vampire bait Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and his immortal hotness Edward Cullen’s (Rob Pattinson) epic love story. Shore is best known for his work on the Lord of the Rings trilogy, for which he won three Academy Awards.
The Twilight Saga – Eclipse has a lot more action than New Moon had, since fierce bad vamp Victoria (now played by Bryce Dallas Howard) still has a score to settle with Edward for killing her lover James in Twilight, and don’t expect her to go out without a fight. And with a continuation in the complicated relationship between Bella and wolf boy Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner – who, btw, is turning 18 on February 11, at which time it will no longer be illegal for me to say how I would love to make him scream my name in foreign tongues”¦just sayin’), more emotion and angst.
I have no doubt that Shore’s compositions will add a great deal to every scene, putting us on the edge of our seats during the battles and making us break out the tissues during the more intimate moments between our monster-loving heroine and the mythical creatures who love her.
And don’t forget to pre-order your copy of The Twilight Saga – New Moon tomorrow, to be released on March 20!
