There are simply millions of hobbies you can spend your time on in the world like comics, movies, video games, oh yeah, and building your own Delorean Time Machine. That is right, I said it, you can build your own Delorean Time Machine. I remember a while back I was wondering what it would take to build your own Back To The Future Delorean and how much something like that would cost. Well one of the hardest parts is finding the actual vehicle itself. If you did happen to run across one and wanted to make yourself a replica, it is definitely possible.
Just in time for the 25th Anniversary of the first Back To The Future film, a great utility for those with this fun hobby is back online. BTTFParts.com has advice and videos on how to convert a normal Delorean into a Back To The Future time machine.
Enjoy the video of their conversion below.
I know what I would like to do when I retire. I really hope there is more than just one of these out in the world because that would definitely make the world a better place. One of the most epic parts of the movie is the car so to see such a loyal fan base taking a continuing interest in hobbies based on one of the best trilogies of all times makes me nostalgic for the movie that I love.
Well even if you aren’t trying to build your own Delorean you should still check out this guy’s conversion and some of the great things he has worked on to make an authentic replica. How many other movies and television shows can you say have fans with such amazing loyalty and time devotion? Short of things like Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, etc., not very many. If anyone is bored and has a lot of extra time and money I would definitely not mind being there while you attempt to build your time machine.

Awesome! I’d presume if one were driving that down the road, it would tend to draw a lot of attention!

I would assume if you scored a traffic ticket you could go back in time and stop yourself from getting it?
