Steven Spielberg‘s motion-capture animated spectacular The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn won’t be released in theaters until around Christmas, but now you can listen to snippets of the music score by John Williams online at the German website Cinema Musica.
There will be 18 tracks in all on the U.S. release and the Cinema Musica article features brief cuts from each track. The score sounds absolutely wonderful, sprighty old school Williams adventure music with an airy European touch.
Visit Cinema Musica to sample some of the score now.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn will be released on December 21, 2011. Sony Classical will release the soundtrack around the same time, but no domestic release date has been set. You can pre-order the import version of the soundtrack, which will be released on October 25, 2011.

That main theme (track one) reminds me of The Untouchables soundtrack by Morricone…
