Ok, so remember when I wrote about how Amazon is currently offering 100 Albums for $5 Each in MP3 format through the end of the month?
I looked through the list a bunch of times to pick a few of great deals to write about, yet somehow I overlooked this Greatest Hits album by Styx. That’s 16 songs for only $5 and if you’re not sure if you dig Styx, trust me, you’ve sung the tunes on this album before: “Too Much Time On My Hands,” “Babe,” and “The Best Of Times.”
Still feigning ignorance? You know you the words “Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto (Domo)” have come out of your mouth before, so don’t even front. Yes, “Mr. Roboto” is on this hits album, too.
Other popular tunes on this greatest hits package are “Blue Collar Man,” “Lady,” “Fooling Yourself,” and of course “Come Sail Away,” the latter tune made popular for this generation thanks to Cartman on South Park.
Now, I just named seven songs you’re too afraid to admit that you love, which means that since individual songs are typically 99 cents each, I’ve more than justified the $5 cost of this album. Also, it’s an MP3 download, so fear not, no one can see you buy it! (Note – CD version is available for $10.86.)
Me, I own this album; I own every Styx album. I’ve seen Styx live in concert over 30 times in venues all over the country. And I can kick your ass. So, if I can admit to loving them, so can you.
See full track listing below and then go grab the album before the sale ends on October 31, 2011 at 11:59pm PST (that’s tonight, so hurry!). Be sure to check out this deal, as well as the other albums available for only $5.
