What would you say if asked whether you’d like to see Daniel Craig play James Bond in five more films? Which would bring his grand total to eight Bond movies following the release of his third turn in the iconic role, titled Skyfall.
One producer of the franchise, Michael G. Wilson, wants just that. In an interview recently, Wilson talked about Craig in the role, saying “Daniel’s been a terrific Bond, a superb actor, and a terrific man” before going on to why he wants to see him hit that eighth mark.

Wilson explained:
Filming has gone very well so far and I’d love Daniel to surpass Roger’s [Moore] record and do eight pictures.
Daniel’s been an absolute pleasure to be around because he takes the role so seriously. There’s really no one more passionate about making these films work than him – he’s a film maker’s dream.
But will it actually happen? One would have to assume no, it won’t happen. Craig is a superstar, getting bigger and bigger every year, and it’s nearly impossible to assume he’ll be both available and affordable five more times. But who knows—perhaps he really likes the gig and will take pay cuts to continue playing the character.
It also has to be assumed that most fans would be delighted to see Craig pass Roger Moore’s record number of appearances. Many already consider him to be the best Bond there’s ever been, and a fair argument could certainly be made.
