Chronicles of Riddick and Fast and the Furious star Vin Diesel took to Facebook recently to reveal that Marvel has requested a meeting with him, but that he had no idea what it was for.

The meeting could be for a number of things, and could very well end up being nothing at all worth mentioning. But it could also end up being that Marvel has the actor in mind for a certain role in an upcoming movie. If that’s the case, the question is who could Diesel play?

This presents the perfect opportunity for a little geek discussion.

We know of a few upcoming Marvel films, most of which are sequels like Captain America 2: Winter Soldier, Thor: The Dark World, and The Avengers 2. Then there’s the newcomers, such as Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Doctor Strange. The bottom line is, there’s lots of Marvel movies on the way.
