August 2 was National Ice Cream Sandwich Day and while I might be a few days late with this one, I thought it was worth a mention, because really, who doesn’t love ice cream sandwiches?
Ok, so in honor of this occasion, Food Beast rounded up a photo feature of the cutest little frozen sammies, and they’ve included a listing for Harry Potter-themed Butterbeer Ice Cream Sandwiches (photo here above), created by Jana of Cherry Tea Cakes.
Jana came up with the recipe, inspired by the delicious beverage from the Harry Potter universe, back in 2010 in honor of the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and made them to taste like butterscotch and short bread cookies, just like Butterbeer.
Head over to Cherry Tea Cakes for the recipe for these ice cream sandwiches so you can make your own.
By the way, in case you don’t know, if you visit Universal Studios Florida, you can get your own Butterbeer — cold or frozen varieties and in a souvenir mug if you wish – at The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter section of the theme park. (Below is a photo of the frozen mug Butterbeer from my last trip to USF – tastes amazing!)

I’m just here to comment on how annoying these Target ads are. Anyone else get some obnoxious half page banner simply by viewing this site lately?

BTW the frozen Butterbeer at the park is nowhere near as amazing as the regular unfrozen one. WORTH EVERY GALLEON.
